Project D at Defining Rhythm 2012

EXTREMELY proud of Project D for 1st place at Defining Rhythm! I was literally speechless during their performance—I love you all so much. I love this fam.
Also, congratulation to UFP and The Mooks for 2nd and 3rd place! NJALLDAY.
I really have to shake this laziness off. Even if grades don’t matter at this point, I still don’t want to end senior year badly. Just not me, I guess.
Need to graduate already.
He is everything good about me.
This is a test of a new mix I made for an upcoming show at WDC. A quick freestyle to experiment with a lot of ideas to turn in to choreo…Any feedback would be great.
The mix you hear is of Anis Mojgani’s poems “Shake the Dust” and “Here Am I” over a track from Inception called “Time”. The original idea of this mix is from a YouTube user called “LittleKingMusic” who did basically the same thing. Anis always hit me hard with his poems—they make me feel like whatever it is that I’m trying to do with my life is the exact right thing that I’m supposed to be using my life for. Specifically, dance. So, I thought it would make sense if I tried to dance to it.

Today, I want to remind you how much I love and appreciate you for everything you do. Thank you for bearing with me when I am unbearable (because I know I am), and for understanding me when I am wrong, while always showing me what is right.
Happy 18th birthday.

With love,
Valerie Anysia
